My baby had to have surgery

For those of you who don't know or are waiting on orders, my 8 year old had to have his appendix taken out unexpectantly yesterday morning. He's on the mend and we're waiting for the surgeon to release him.

Please be patient if you've ordered something, I'll get it out asap. I've been at the hosp since 1:00am wednsday morning and I live 40 miles from it.

Time for a new pincushion?

I think it is......the kids at our church gave me this one for Mothers Day when I was pregnant with Brandon. Almost nine years old....whew. It's been thru alot. I think I'll make me one of those cute cupcake ones....

I've had several people ask me about spring hats so I've done some brainstorming and here's the results. I couldn't be happier!! I'll also have the same ensemble in leopard and tangerine. Stay tuned for pics of those.

Scrap dress

I'm love with this little scrap dress. I grabbed up some odd and end pieces I had laying around and Viola......

I love it when it comes together like this. Makes sewing fun. :)

Snow?

Sheesh..........I thought winter was going out. It snowed most of the day yesterday. It was pretty but I sure don't like it.....

My latest painting project.

Breanna's room needed some freshening and the cheapest most rewarding thing I could do is paint. I love to paint, each room in my house is a different color. :) Colors are fun!! So here is the before I'll share the after when I get the room put back together. It turned out really cute! She's very happy with it. I am too considering I don't really care for purple.....
